This Privacy Policy explains how Passown ("Passown," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use Passown's website, applications, digital ownership services, dealer tools, and related services.

Passown uses third-party service providers to operate portions of the Service.

• Stripe for payment processing;
• Supabase for authentication, database, and related infrastructure;
• Resend for transactional email and communications;
• hosting, infrastructure, security, and other technology providers.

These providers may process information on Passown's behalf as necessary to provide their services.

Payments are processed through Stripe.

Passown does not store complete payment card numbers.

Payment information is handled by Stripe according to Stripe's applicable terms and privacy practices.

Passown may send transactional emails related to:

• account activity;
• ownership transfers;
• maintenance reminders;
• subscription status;
• billing;
• security;
• important service notices.

Passown may use Resend or another transactional email provider to deliver these messages.

Passown may collect technical and usage information for security, troubleshooting, performance, and service improvement.

Passown may use platform-provided logging, diagnostics, or similar technical tools.

Passown may adopt additional analytics, monitoring, or security services in the future as the Service develops. If a material change in how personal information is collected or used requires an update to this Privacy Policy, Passown will update this policy accordingly.

Passown does not sell your personal information.

Passown may share information with:

Passown does not sell personal information.

Passown may allow users to control whether certain Passport information is public or private.

Public Passport information may be viewable by people who are given access to the applicable Passport.

Private information is intended to remain restricted according to the Service's access controls.

Passown does not publicly display a user's private contact information merely because an asset Passport exists.

Passown may collect and process information necessary to facilitate ownership transfers.

This may include information about the current owner, new owner, asset, transfer status, and supporting documentation.

Passown may retain historical ownership records after a transfer so that the asset's history remains intact.

Passown may retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain historical records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, protect the Service, and enforce agreements.

Because Passown is designed around permanent asset histories, historical Passport information may remain after an account or subscription ends.

Passown uses reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

Passown is intended for adults and is not directed toward children. You must be at least 18 years old to create or maintain a Passown account.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has created an account or provided personal information to Passown, we will take appropriate steps to address the situation and delete the information when required by applicable law.

Depending on the information and circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, update, or request deletion of certain personal information.

Because Passown is designed to preserve asset histories, some information may need to be retained for legitimate business, legal, security, or recordkeeping purposes.
